Oman (Arabic: عمان‎ ‘Umān), officially the Sultanate of Oman (Arabic: سلطنة عُمان‎ Salṭanat ‘Umān), is an Arab country in southwest Asia on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders the United Arab Emirates on the northwest, Saudi Arabia on the west and Yemen on the southwest. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea on the south and east and the Gulf of Oman on the northeast. The country also contains Madha, an exclave enclosed by the United Arab Emirates, and Musandam, an exclave also separated by Emirati territory

The city of Salalah is known as the “perfume capital of Arabia”.[citation needed] The city is a popular destination for tourism due to the natural attractions of the nearby mountains and abundant stands of frankincense trees lining mountain wadi courses. Around the city and into the mountains the countryside is lush and green during the monsoon period with the vegetation supporting herds of cattle. The climate supports wildlife often more commonly associated with East Africa, such as leopards and hyenas

نبذة مختصرة عن ولاية بوشر :
تتخذ موقعها بين البحر والجبل ، إلى الجنوب الغربي لولاية مطرح ، عدد سكانها 108 آلاف نسمه ، وتضم حوالي 43 مدينة وقرية ، أهمها : بلدة بوشر – الخوير – مدينة السلطان قابوس – الغبرة – العذيبة – غلا – مرتفعات مدينة الإعلام – الصاروج – الأنصب – الحمام – العوابي – المسفاه . تدل الآثار وتشير الروايات إلى أن تاريخها يرجع للآلف الثاني قبل الميلاد . ويذكر المؤرخون بأنها شهدت أحداث هامة وشاركت في صنع التاريخ العماني ، حيث هزم جيش الحجاج بن يوسف الثقفي في معركة (البلقعين) على يد محاربي الأزد من العمانيين وكما يقال وهو الأرجح أن إسم (بوشر) جاء نسبة إلى ما شهدته المنطقة من إضطرابات قديمة ، مما دعى تسميتها (أبوشر) لكن حين إستقرت الأوضاع تم حذف الهمزة ليصبح إسمها (بوشر) . أما عن اهم المعالم الآثرية في ولاية بوشر فنذكر البيت الكبير أو بيت السيدة ثريا وحصن وقلعة (الفتح) ، وأبراج : الحمام ، صنب ، حارة العوراء ، وبرج ورولة وسبلة فلج الشام ، وسوق بوشر القديم ومقصورة الخب . وعلى رأس المساجد القديمة يأتي مسجد (النجار) في بلدة بوشر بني عمران ، والذي بني في القرن الثالث عشر الهجري إلى جانب 66 مسجداً تنتشر في مختلف مدن وقرى الولاية . ويأتي في مقدمة المساجد الحضارية في السلطنة جامع السلطان قابوس الأكبر ، الذي يقع في قلب الولاية والذي بني مؤخراً على نفقة السلطان قابوس المعظم .

Bousher is beautiful area in Muscat City and in Bousher there are many tourist places
